At Earth Woven, we want you to love your sustainable home goods. If something’s not right, we’re here to help. Please read our policy below for details on returns, refunds, and exchanges. All returns must be approved in advance via email at [hello@earthwoven.shop].
Eligibility for Returns
- Time frame: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Late requests may be denied.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags/labels intact. We reserve the right to inspect and refuse damaged returns.
- Non-Returnable Items: Personalized, custom, or hygiene-related products (e.g. bamboo tooth brushes) are final sale.
Reasons for Return and Shipping Costs
- Defective or Damaged: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or doesn’t match the description, we’ll cover return shipping. Email us photos within 7 days of delivery for fastest processing.
- Wrong Item Shipped: Our error? We’ll cover return shipping and send the correct item ASAP.
- Change of Mind or Didn’t Like It: We accept these returns, but you are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued for the product price only (original shipping fees are non-refundable).
- Exchanges: Available for size/color swaps on eligible items (same conditions as returns). You cover return shipping; we’ll ship the exchange for free.
How to Request a Return
- Email hello@earthwoven.shop with your order number, item details, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
- We’ll review and reply within 2-3 business days with an approval (or denial) and return instructions/label if needed.
- Ship the item back within 7 days of approval. Use tracked shipping for your protection.
- Once received and inspected (1-5 business days), we’ll process your refund/exchange.
Refunds
- Processing Time: Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving/approving the return. Note: It may take 3-5 extra days for your bank to reflect it.
- What We Refund: Product cost only (minus any restocking fees, if applicable—e.g., 10% for opened items). Original shipping, taxes, and return shipping (for non-defects) are non-refundable.
- Partial Refunds: For partial returns or minor wear, we may issue store credit instead.
- No Refunds: For buyer’s remorse if the policy isn’t followed, or non-eligible items.
Shipping Delays or Lost Packages
- We ship via USPS with tracking. Once handed to the carrier, they’re responsible for delivery issues.
- For lost/delayed packages, file a claim with the carrier first—we’ll assist but can’t guarantee outcomes.
